Today there was even more walking 20,000 steps or 17.1 km. The extra today was the big uphill to Montmartre.
We start out to see things we couldn’t afford at Galleries Lafayette and Printemps. Beautiful stores, both with incredible stained glass domes. It’s always fun to see what a $3000 outfit looks like. Lafayette now has a rooftop viewing terrace so we went up for a peek. Great views of the opera house and Paris.

Then the trek uphill to Sacre Cœur. All this trip we have been shocked at how many people are lined up for things. We’ve been to Sacre Cœur before so didn’t bother waiting an hour in line, but wandered around the site. My personal shrine to visit in the neighborhood is all the fabric outlets at the base of the hill. Blocks and blocks of fabrics! Currently having second thoughts about the fabric I didn’t get.

After, a few shops we could afford, a few purchases and it was 4 pm. Time to call it a day.
Great photos! Nice to see the sun shining for you two. Enjoy your last day!
Did Colin buy anything?
Well you have one more day to backtrack for fabric, yes?
Depends on my travelling partner?
