Short day in Toulouse as we have to catch a late train to Beziers. Late being the operative word here. Train arrived 15 minutes late and now we seem to be spending a lot of time on rail sidings now as we wait our turn on each stage of track.
We started the day just wandering around and happened upon the École des Beaux-Arts. What an inspiring workspace. The building has names of some of the greats etched into it: Rodin, Delacroix, David.
Next we wandered into an old Jacobin monastery that had been repurposed many times, one being Napoleon’s military base.

A bit more aimless wandering and it was time to head to the station.

We really enjoyed our time in Toulouse and would love to spend a few days here next time.
