Day 3: Mar 23, 2025 / Transfer to La Fortuna and the Hotel Royal Corin and Spa.
This morning we were picked up in our private mini bus for the three hour drive to La Fortuna. The narrow, bumpy, twisty road and our driver’s penchant for passing on the blind curves made it quite the adventure. All worth it because our place for the next few days did not disappoint. We were met with cooling cloths and fancy cocktails. Since the rooms were not ready we headed to the outdoor spa area with its giant thermal pool complete with swim up bar. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
Our room continued the luxury with a balcony looking at the volcano and the most amazing shower with mood lighting and so many ways to delivery water.
Time to head to dinner. We feel well rested now and ready for the fun begin tomorrow.
