Our third and final full day in Paris was another one of a morning wandering the area around Place de la Concorde, The Louvre and Latin Quarter.
Afternoon was highlighted by a trip to Foundation Louis Vuitton to see the Rothko exhibit. The trip included a shuttle ride from Arc de Triomphe where we could relax on the bus and watch the chaos of the traffic as our driver worked his way around Charles de Gaulle – Etoile, witnessing at least one motorcycle accident and a couple of instances of road rage along the route.

The show review was favourable but we were not as impressed with the building as designed by Frank Gehry. Based on a tip from Mr. Randy we took a side trip up the staircase to the open air rooftop terrace that featured a surprising view of Paris’ modern skyscraper.

Time for bed as we have an early start and a long day of travel Friday. We have been away a month now so looking forward to getting home.
