Today we will ride from one end of Sipan to the other, covering 10 kilometers. Sipan is an ancient coastal village situated 8 kilometers northwest of the town of Dubrovnik. Once we’ve finished our ride, we’ll meet back on the boat and enjoy lunch onboard before continuing to Dubrovnik.
It’s a short cycle day today. Weather has been good all week but a storm has been brewing, which has us moving the boat around to avoid rough waters. We are heading to Dubrovnik early because the port authorities want to boats in early before the big storm hits tonight.
Last night was the big captain’s dinner and it also happened to be one of the guest’s birthday. This resulted in a full on dance party until midnight. We were moored between two other fancier boats and they decided to come over and join us. It was so much fun, but everybody was a little slow moving this morning.
I have finally solved my picture upload issue do I thought I would just post a few from the last few days.
Our cycle tour ends tomorrow morning but we plan to stay an extra few days in Dubrovnik.
