OUR THOUGHTS:
Long time reader, first time blogger… Diane has handed over the blog to me, Bizz.
We woke up in the lovely city of Limerick and this was the view from our window.

After breakfast we had a short drive to check out some thatched cottages before starting the scenic drive along the Dingle Peninsula. Who knew there would be smooth sandy shores and Caribbean coloured waters this far north?

We lunched in Dingle and wandered the shops. Most were the usual tourist
stuff-stores but there were a few purchases.
More driving, more gorgeous vistas Ireland is so easy on the eyes and the residents are delightful.
Today may not have had the glamour of the Giant’s Causeway or the sex appeal of the Cliffs of Moher but the Dingle Peninsula has been the highlight for me. It had it all: sheep, hills, mountains, beach, and orchids.

I feel fortunate to be able visit this beautiful country and learn about its history and people. I have to thank Diane and .Elizabeth for encouraging me to take this big step. We have created precious memories of our time together.
Loved Dingle, the Slea Head Drive, the Donquin Pier and particularly Inch Beach
✨?✨
I recall the beautiful scenery of the Dingle Peninsula in the old movie “Ryan’s Daughter”
