Further to Colin’s previous post, what a great few days we have had with Mr. Randy and his lovely wife Sandy. Their home here is exactly like I thought a place here would be. A terrace with flowers and herbs, the market and so many antique stores! And the food…..
Sunday began with fresh croissants. We later went to a neighbouring village for their market. We had lunch at the Paul Mas winery where we matched wines to each course. We later headed to the beach for a stroll.
Back home more wine and a bbq of local saucisison and wonderful concoction of potatoes and cheese. The finale, was a drink on the terrace with a gorgeous full moon. A day I will remember for a long time.
Montpellier
This morning we drove an hour to Montpellier where we will catch a train into Paris. I definitely want to return to Montpellier and explore the old city. So much more to see.
Right now we on the train into Paris for the final stage of the trip. thank you for everything Randy and Sandy.
Sandy and I enjoyed spending time with you and Mr. Colin. We hope you enjoy your time in Paris, it’s a wonderful city. Safe travels home. R & S
